Monday is Card Day @ LCOM!

Wow, catchy title! Not! Ugh, I have finally succumbed to the cold that has been going around and I'm not feeling that witty at the moment - please forgive me.
So, you might have heard that Monday is Card Day at LCOM. This week Roberta challenged us to use only cardstock - no patterned paper, no ribbon, no brads. She did 'allow' us glitter, embossing, stamping and/or sewing. Thanks heavens for glitter! It was a great challenge because my card making process is usually grab neutral cardstock for the base and then reach for patterned paper to make it pretty. LOL! In this case, I stuck with the neutral cardstock base and then made flower by tracing various sizes of Sassafras Paper Whimsies onto my cardstock. Add a little ink and glitter - voilĂ ! Stop by the LCOM forum and share your card.

We celebrated World Card Making day at LCOM on Saturday with a ton of challenges. It's not too late to join in the fun, head on over to the site and check out the challenges. You have until 8pm AST on Wednesday, October 7th to upload your creations.

My challenge was to use felt on your card. I have a ton of felt in my stash that has been neglected!

I also completed a couple Card Day challenges from my team mates; Melissa asked us to use some crocheted goodies on our card and Darlene issues the 'Home Sweet Home' challenge. The home on my card looks more like a dog house, but perspective isn't critical in cardmaking, right??
